Thanks for checking out our guest house for your stay here in Hanalei. We do not have a fancy brochure - just a location in one of the truly special spots this world has to offer. |
The physical beauty of Hanalei is spectacular - the green mountains, waterfalls, broad sandy beach, deep blue water - but there is also something much deeper. The Hawaiians have a word, a’ina, which vaguely refers to the spirit of the land - and here in Hanalei and on the entire north shore of Kauai the a’ina is especially strong - a magic quite reminiscent of Puff the Magic Dragon who lived in a land called Hanalee (it had to rhyme). |
Our guest house is a free-standing one-bedroom home, completely furnished with a full size kitchen, living and dining area, and a large deck with a view of those mountains and waterfalls after a rain. |
Enjoy the full size kitchen ready for your use... perhaps a candle light dinner in the dining room.
Relax in front of the cable TV or step outside and enjoy the view from the deck.
Our bedroom offers a queen size bed and additional guests can stretch out on the living room sofa or stretch out on the futons also available.
High speed wireless internet available |
Smoking on the deck only please
The north shore of Kauai offers some of the finest scenery in the world, hiking trails for the adventurous as well as for those who just enjoy a casual stroll, boat or helicopter rides par excellence - to say nothing of miles and miles of sandy beaches for surfers of every level and sun bathers alike, and rivers where kayaking provides both exercise and relaxation at the same time. On the other side of the island we even have Waimea Canyon (a midget grand canyon) and desert-like conditions. For great food and a fun time you need to visit Tahiti Nui with lunch, dinner and live, local style, entertainment nightly (located right in the heart of Hanalei town) – or just use your own kitchen. |
